Living in Gratitude Every Day

Feeling Gratitude is the Attitude

Gratitude basically means feeling thanks and appreciation. Many people take gratitude for granted. Sure, of course, we are grateful for our families, ourgratitude children, the jobs we love and our good health or good fortune. But, how often are you actually bringing your awareness and attention point to Feeling gratitude? More importantly, how long are you focusing your attention on that feeling?

Gratitude: The Energy of Receivership

Most folks do not realize that gratitude is the Universal Energy of Receiving. Feeling gratitude allows more of what we already have into our lives. Usually, we feel Gratitude after we have already received something that is associated with things we like.  Feeling gratitude is wonderful anytime you choose to practice this. However, this form of gratitude works with the Newtonian model; you will believe it when you see it. Most often, our awareness is centered around what we can “see” that is already in our lives. We are not grateful unless we have received something. In some ways, this perspective has lead peGratitudeChangesEverythingople to believe that the more material objects they acquire the happier and more grateful they will be. However, as many of us have discovered, things do not necessarily make one happier or more grateful.
A Quantum model of practicing Gratitude is where one feels feelings of gratitude before something has manifested; feeling grateful as if it’s already in your life allows for creating to become much easier. Working with the Law of attraction and practicing this process of being grateful allows what you want to manifest to come in faster. Our minds do not know the difference! Also, being grateful for no specific reason at all is a very powerful energy, for creating happiness and health in one’s life.

Science and Feelings of Gratitude

The benefits of practicing gratitude are virtually endless. Studies have shown that when people practice by focusingScienceOfGratitude their attention regularly on feeling gratitude; which could be simply daily journaling and taking time to reflect for their experiences sleep better, experience more positive emotions and are able to express more kindness actually creates a healthy and stronger immune system. There are so many things to be grateful for that go unnoticed in our daily routines. We can become desensitized to what we already have.
One of the best ways to hold the attitude of gratitude and harvest all of the great benefits is to keep a Gratitude Journal and write in it every day.  This will also bring your awareness to a newGratitudeEveryDay point of focusing on some of the wonderful smaller things in your life. You will begin to change your perceptivity. Our perception is so important when it comes to gratitude and creating and manifesting our experiences. (Actually, our perspectives are important for all creating, as they are connected with emotions that trigger the hormones in the Pineal Gland, that are sent to the body that then turns on specific aspects of our genes!)
While you may be very grateful for your job or spouse, just writing, “I am grateful for my job” is going to get old quickly.  When you can break that down as to “why” you are grateful…Perhaps a co-worker bought beautiful flowers or someone covered your shift so you could do something. Perhaps someone was extra kind… there are many details in life to be grateful for every day.

Get Excited and Practice Gratitude!

When you become excited about practicing gratitude, (and you will if you really understand the physics behind this feeling, as well as the Law of Attraction) PowerOfGratitudethese excited feelings can get us going on the gratitude path. However, with this said, if you mentally sabotage yourself by saying you don’t have time to journal and focus on gratitude so you can create better health because you don’t feel well enough to do it, we usually lose the momentum. One of the best ways to achieve a goal and using a new technique is Mental Contrasting. Mental Contrasting is being optimistic about the benefits of creating this newfound habit, while also being realistic about how challenging writing every day about gratitude may be which actually will allow us to exert more effort. Recognize and plan for the mental obstacles that may ThankYouget in the way. Be sure to choose a time that works well for you every day, and do it the way you want. There is no set in stone rules for journaling about gratitude!
